Case Description
BROKEN BRIDGE! Not sure what to do...
4 tooth wishbone bridge came off. Teeth 6 and 5 have had no root canal, crown posts are natural teeth and feel decayed to me (little SORE), 4 is missing, 3 I believe has a root canal. Rest of top of mouth is all crown work.
I cannot afford thousands of dollars to replace this bridge work. I am not sure about the ability to do a partial denture in this location of the mouth with the teeth in question. Would anyone even put a temporary on while I decide what to do so that I am not running around looking like a Halloween horror show????
I am a single Mom, 40 years old who has returned to school full time, I am majoring in nursing. I am very very very self conscious and need some help deciding what to do on a non existent budget. All I do know is that I need advice! I desperately miss smiling. I hate talking and laughing around anyone! I have a big smile and the crown posts SHOW!
I need an AFFORDABLE and compassionate dentist....

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Making a temporary bridge is usually not a problem. It is also possible to repair a broken bridge under some circumstances The condition of the supporting teeth is critical, however. I would be glad to take a look and advise you, and we do not charge in that situation. Our location, north of Charlotte may be a problem for you, however.Just check the website (www.drpence.com) and see if the location is a reasonable distance for you.
