Patient Review 1:

The staff that attended to my child were fabulous. All the staff seemed to work together very well. Dr. Moore was great and my child loved him. I would recommend this office to anyone living in the area.Great Work!

Dr. Moore and his staff are wonderful. He has treated my 4 year old for the past year. He love Dr. Moore and his staff-particularly Marcus. I feel like he is in good hands. I would highly recommend Charlotte Pediatric to anyone.

Patient Review 3:

We just had our third visit in the last 11 months at Dr. Moore's Pediatric Dentistry Mallard Creek office. Our daughter is 4 years old, and received a filling during our last visit. This was done by another dentist on staff, with a very excellent experience outcome. The recent visit I have a problem with. The dentist we saw this time was Dr. Hwang, and I was present during the entire visit. She conferred with other examiners at the end of the exam while my child reclined and I sat listening to them. She decided my child should have stainless caps on 2 back molars, and left the area without ever speaking to me about her decision/recommendation for my daughter. The news was given to me by a Hygenist, who sat me down with a Treatment Plan and cost estimate - after Dr. Hwang moved on.... and of course, the questions I asked, the hygenist could not answer. I was very upset by the "cold bedside manner" I received from this dentist - she did not speak directly to me regarding what she felt would be best for my child and why. I really am stunned that this is tolerated by any parent taking their child to this Pediatric Dentistry group! I will not be returning, and plan to write a letter to Dr. Moore regarding this visit.

Patient Review 4:

Both of my children are long time patients and have had a great experience. Even stressful procedures (and there have been some) have been handled professionally. Neither is scared of office visits and they love having "clean teeth".

Patient Review 7:

My 7 year old son was scheduled to see Dr. Moore for surgical removal of a cyst. During the prodecure Dr. Moore determined a tooth would need to be extracted. Dr. Moore considered the tooth to be a mesiodens. Dr. Moore had little patience for my son. Dr. Moore told my son " I can't do this if your screaming." My son was scared and confused. Dr. Moore did not try to comfort my son. I waited in the waiting room with my older son. My husband stayed in the room with our 7 year old. My son came out crying saying it hurt mommy.

Patient Review 8:

My daughter (8 at the time) had a horrible experience with Dr. Yaghi & his staff, so I found Dr. Moore. We see him at the Mallard Creek office and everyone there is great. I told them about the prior problems and they took a lot of time to make sure my daughter was comfortable. This office is really tailored to kids and she just loves going to the dentist now. I've never had any problem getting the staff to file insurance or with anyone being rude or the least bit impatient. My daughter loves Dr. Moore & his staff and I'm very, very glad we found them!

Patient Review 9:

This dentist had an assistant that held my son's head. My son was only about 6 at the time. He didn't seem to have much patience with children. This was the worst dental experience ever. I didn't know what to do while all this was going on. He told my son not to scream because it would bother other patients. I didn't see anyone else in the building except the people who worked there. I should have reported him.

Patient Review 10:

Terrible "chair-side" manners. Hygenist was snippy with my child and lost patience with her inability to "relax her tongue". Dr. Moore is competant, but also a bit short with his patients. He seems very aggressive in his treatment recommendations. Considering that they bill themselves as pediatric specialists, he and his staff are less than child-friendly and not very patient or understanding when it comes to the anxiety-prone child. My child needed a single tooth extracted and without giving me any options, immediately scheduled her for IV sedation (They had deemed her a "difficult patient" at age 7!) My child and I were far more anxious about the IV than the extraction. When I questioned the necessity of the IV, they seemed offended. I quickly switched dentists, and was vindicated by the new dentist and her staff--their overall attitude is much more positive, putting my child at ease. In fact, she recently had TWO teeth extracted, with nothing more than the "novacaine" shot. She did great. Oh, and when I requested records be transferred to the new office, it took Dr. Moore's office 2 MONTHS to send them. At one point, they claimed to have LOST my child's records and xrays. STEER CLEAR of this dentist!

if you ever get to see dr moore, he is great, however, he is rarely there when one is told he will be! make sure you ask if your child is seeing a true pediatric dentist!

Patient Review 12:

The dentist seemed friendly enough. They were rude at the front desk and didn't want to bill my insurance for my sons work. Even though I had an authorization form showing they would pay. I wont be going back because I dont want to prepay or have to deal with rude office staff.
