Snoring and Sleep Apnea Treatment

Dr. Steiner has been treating sleep apnea and snoring for over 10 years and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is successfully treating those patients, who cannot or do not want to wear a CPAP mask, with oral appliance therapy. Oral appliances that treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea are small devices that are worn in the mouth, similar to orthodontic retainers or sports mouth guards. These appliances help prevent the collapse of the tongue and soft tissues in the back of the throat, keeping the airway open during sleep and promoting adequate air intake. Dr. Steiner has proven results with this therapy. It is a sucessful alternative, more comfortable and easier to travel with than the traditional CPAP machine.
